Help make Santa’s jolly job easy at Idaho Falls parade

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO – Last year, 91,000 requests to the Santa Claus Parade in Idaho Falls were made.

The parade takes place in the summer months and, at its heart, is just a carnival for kids, seeing Santa live.

But sometimes even the best of things can fall apart.

Those behind the parade are always looking for more volunteers to help out at the event.

They need people to be Santa, a elf, or a person dressed up as Santa’s helpers.

Then you can help sort the requests that come in, or even contribute to putting out goodies for children that they may not have had before.

In case you’re wondering, Santa Claus himself tries to be ready to collect those boxes of toys by 7 pm every year.

Last year, it was a bit crazy, as everyone was coming to help. But he’s ready every year – if you want to help, contact the Santa Claus Parade website.

The annual parade itself happens on August 19th and takes place from 7 pm to 10 pm on Main Street in Idaho Falls.
